Bring Spring!!

Oh my goodness I always have such good intentions to write more regularly on here but then this little thing called life gets in the way! LOL The last couple of days have been so beautiful. We have had temps in the 50's and 60's. The snow is all melted (not that there was a lot) and we all have spring fever. I know it is only March and we might still get snow but these days have been really nice. I even put out some of my Easter things, I will share that at a later date.

About a month ago we celebrated Isaiah's 2nd birthday. It really got me to thinking about how blessed we are to have him in our family and how super blessed I am to be able to babysit him each week.  Never thought Jon would get married much less have a baby at 40 something....only God knows His plans. He just brings so much joy into all our lives It worked out so well the when I was at one of the low points in my life losing a job I loved that I was able to become Isaiah's fulltime  babysitter. We have done so much together and nothing is better than the first time he said my name, asks me for hugs and gives me kisses. I am excited to teach him things and just spend as much time with him as I can.
Here are some of the birthday pictures..His cake...
He loved he balloons we got him...

Big brother Ivan helping with opening the presents

Grandma letting him go after his cake with his fingers.

Eating cake like a big boy...loved being sung to.
Playing with his train with Papa.
 A great birthday...even got a favorite cow.
Thanks for stopping by my blog...have a great weekend and bring on spring!

Morning Cindi
I think we are all in the same spot you are with posting - I don't know how some have enough to say 2 and 3 times a week...I feel when I post it's like I write a book because of the times in between LOL
Your sweet Isaiah - what a darling little guy!!!
Quite the birthday celebration with him the center of attention - I see why he's the light of your life.
We too have a son who married at 40 and his wife was 35 - never thought we'd see marriage or children and now they have 2 after 10 years of marriage....so you are so correct that it is in 'His plan', not ours.
Blessings
Karen

Afternoon! Glad to see you've posted an update and it looks like your doing well. I'm sorry about you losing your job but the trade off is rewarding. The baby years go so fast so enjoy every second.

I haven't posted much because I'm trying to keep my job. It's time for my company to update their files which means, training and paperwork and as I'm typing, a CPR recent. Gotta love it. At least it's sunny and not freezing!

Well, I better scoot and get this done but I'll check in soon around Easter time. Take care.

What a joy that little fella must be. My greats bring me so much love and pleasure and I am truly grateful. I am also grateful for spring. It has been a long cold winter.
