*~* Whole Lotta Love *~* Day 4

Happy Monday to all of my special blogging friends. Today I am sharing my love of mason jars.I haven't always loved theses canning jars...when I was young my mom canned tomatoes and other veggies. I remember the jars boiling in the water and my job was to peel the tomatoes. I really did not like that job at all, I thought they smelled bad and they were always so hot when I was trying to get the peels off. I have gotten over that memory though and today love the look of the jars.

It is kinda hard showing my "collections" because I have not even been a "primaholic" for a year yet. So I guess these would be the collections of my dreams! LOL

Here is my collection of jars....
Filled with dried fruit....

Buttons and one that needs something added to it...
Filled with red with homespun for Valentine's Day...
And these are some I have pinned...really like the idea of making a soap dispenser out of one!

These are something I will continue to look for to fill out my collection because I love the look of them and love how you can put things into them and they look even better.

Have a great week everyone!

Love it. I don't collect anything but have always said if I did, it would be old jars. I have several Mason jars and love them.

Hi Cindi! Mason jars seem to be so hard to find over here and I really love the blue ones. The jars do look even better primmed up!
Thanks for the chain fun too!

The blue ones are my favorite. I know a way to take a regular jar and turn it to an antique blue color. If you like just let me know and I will give you a link to a good tutorial. Thanks for sharing your collection. -Steph-

Hi Cindi, I love canning jars as well. I sold so many before we moved, some new, some very old. I did keep some special ones but they remain in my barn in Maine:(
