Merriment Chain~Day 22

Today I am off to Tomahawk WI to watch my nephew Logan in a swim meet. I am going with my mom and dad and we are going to stop and see my godparents and then continue North. All of the kids will be there, my oldest nephew Matthew, my only and dearest niece Michelle and then of course Logan. It will be a great time with family.

As you all know I am a new "prim" decorator. I would say that I probably started in June of this year. When it came time to put up my tree I got out my ornaments and realized that although they all had many memories to them and most were gifts they were not prim. I really wanted my ornaments on my tree but I also loved the look of a prim tree also. Well my sister bought me this tree and I got to fill it with the ornaments I got through swaps and for gifts. It is my little prim tree and I love it! I love that I now have another tree full of ornaments that were gifts from my new prim friends and full of memories.
Have a blessed day everyone!

Well, now your stomping merry in MY neck of the woods!! I think we had this conversation before....but, where exactly are you??? Tomahawk is only about 45 minutes from Nod....

Sweet little tree....what a sweet sis. I guess I'm a bit of an exception to the rule....I think I was "born" prim. Yeah, still went through a "country-ish" stage - not by choice, but when we got married, that "country" blue and mauve was all the rage, and it ended up in our new housekeeping....but, otherwise, the older, rustier, and quirkier, always had my name written all over it....

So glad you joined the chain - I so appreciate visits and sweet, sweet, comments. Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Cindi your tree is prim perfect. I know how hard it is to just start. It's so hard, and then you see everyone else's homes and wonder if you will ever get there. Unless you're loaded with $ it takes a long time:) You are doing a great job though. It's so special to have your home decorated with gifts from other people!! You can walk around you home and just see the love. -Steph-

What a wonderful sister and a beautiful tree. It is truly a double fuzzy when people send you something. When you get it and when you continue to look at it.
