Today was a long day. After being at the clinic with my sister she felt pretty good after the injection so we went shopping it was fun but I am tired. We left here at 7:30 this morning and got home at 3:30. Both of us got all our shopping done so that is good. It was really warm here today, in the 40's so almost all of our snow is gone...sad. Hopefully we will get a little more.
Here are two more things that my dad made me when he was doing some woodworking. they always have a special place every winter. I added the mittens to the sled.
Gosh I really dislike the stark white apartment walls! LOL

So glad your sister did well today.Your dad made you some wonderful things--I'm sure you treasure them. When we sold our last house, we moved into a townhouse (rent) until we were ready to build. I remember those pure white walls! We were allowed to stencil a border on the walls as long as we rolled a layer of white paint over it before we left. It helped a LOT to make it feel more like a home! hugs--Jan
Cindi, I really love your merriment posts! What a great idea, & you've come up with some really great decorating ideas. I love the things that your Dad has made you. You must treasure those! I hope your sister is doing well. I read back to see what she was going through, but couldn't find anything. I have a stack of sigtags ready to send you, but cannot find your email. Please send it to me. Hugs

Hi Cindi. I hope you have recovered from yesterday by now. I am so glad your sister did well. I am happy you got all your shopping done. We just have to get wrapping paper, but that should be easy. We have no snow here. It's suppose to snow tonight or Friday. Hopefully, we had planned to go sledding today after school. It was a slip in my advent calendar pocket. Guess we will have to find something else to do. I liek your snow man and sled. They are special. Enjoy the stark white walls. At least it's easy to touch them up.
