June.....really?

Hello there to anyone that visits here. It has been awhile for a bog post again...it is hard for me as my life is just not that exciting. Well let me put that another way, it is great for me and so exciting to me especially the time spent babysitting but not that exciting for people to read about. I am going to write about it anyway...lol.

I finally got all of my flower containers planted. I was looking for an old chair to have out in the "garden" and also a wash tub but I didn't find either one. Well I did find chairs but they were expensive! I don't want to pay 30 dollars! I have to say that I didn't go to a lot of places so I will just keep looking through the summer. It gives me a good excuse to hit some antique stores and yard sales. I don't do real well at yard sales though because of my disability but if I drive by slow and something looks good I will stop! LOL

As I said I have been doing my babysitting. Isaiah is not a baby anymore. He is well into his "trying twos". He is a lot more active and definitely knows what he wants to do and what he doesn't want to do. I enjoy every second with him though and love to see him learning new things. Here are some pictures I took the other day when he was having fun with a pail of water and a cup.

Outside playing in his water table
Always likes to build with his mega blocks.
Well that is about it for now. Have a great week everyone!

Good Morning! So nice to see you here this morning. I think your posts are great; never boring. We are all ordinary people sharing our ordinary lives! It's a beautiful life! Sometimes I find things like old chairs on trash day. If you pass down a few roads and it's trash day you never know if you'll see one out on the curb. Good luck! Whatever you plant, I hope it blossoms! Love ya! Maggie

Hi Cindi - I can't believe how big Isaiah is - so adorable.
We do a 'drive by' on some rummage/garage sales ourselves...if it is mostly clothes we drive right on by...don't need more of those.
I looked back on your other post and your flowers are just beautiful! You are so lucky to have so much sun for them. We have none so we need to find shade plants and that's so difficult.
Blessings
Karen

Hi Cindi, your posts aren't boring, I enjoy reading them. And I feel like I am watching Isiah grow up. I remember loving age 2 with my grandkids and kids, they are little people and you can carry on a conversation with them. Keep looking for a chair, you will find a reasonable one. Wooden ones only last a few years for me outdoors, the weather takes a tole on them, so I don't like spending lots of money on them. Have a wonderful Summer. Hugs, Lecia
