Sisters in Tomah...

Hello everyone. I hope this post finds all of you doing great. The weather has changed from spring like temps last week to late fall temps this week. Brrrrr it is chilly.  You can now tell that winter is just around the corner.

To celebrate one of the last day of fall sunshine and the temps in the 70's my sister and I headed out to shop Tomah WI last Friday.  The drive there was just beautiful and the first stop we made was...Kwik Trip...LOL.  We got a little snack, used the bathroom, got something to drink and got all ready for the half block trip to The Market Place. Here is my sister on the porch...usually there is an awesome outhouse and wagon in the yard but they had just sold them a few days earlier so it looked kinda bare.

It was a great time there but alas even after dropping some dollars there we went to some other places. We were surprise at the other places in town that has Primitives...of course I got so excited that these were the last pictures I took.  We also went to Gatherings, Amish Country Corner, Country spirits and Tomah Cash Mercantile.  We then had a late lunch at the European Restaurant in Burnstad's Market.  It was a great time and we had a lot of laughs and just good sister talk.  On the way home we stopped in La Crosse and stopped at The Tree House. Here is some pictures of the things I got.
A picture that was on sale for $10.00....SCORE!
Billy Jacobs calendar that was 30% off...SCORE!
Cute wooden ornaments...on sale for 25% off
 Two blocks I liked.
A cute snowman decoration. Everything was on sale so that is a good thing.  Of course the best part of the day was spending it with my sister.

Have a great day everyone!  Be blessed!

That's the best,
I don't have any sisters but I do so love the time I get with my brother and Aunt.
Love all the treasures you found.

We hit all the same shops when we go to Tomah...you missed a new one though...it's called THE GRAINERY.
It's straight out the highway (leaving Market Place) about a mile maybe...turn left and it's in a little grain bin shop - adorable! Next time though you must seek it out.

Nice purchases and with sisters, how fun.

One of these days I would like hubby to take me up to Tomah while we are up to the lake some weekend because there are so many cute looking shops up there that I see advertised!
